Customer Due Diligence (KYC)
Before any real money moves into or out of your Mouvel account, we verify your identity and risk profile. This includes government-ID verification, proof of address, source-of- funds and source-of-wealth declarations, PEP and sanctions screening, and a risk-based appropriateness assessment.
Ongoing monitoring
We continuously monitor deposits, withdrawals and trading activity for unusual patterns, refresh CDD periodically based on customer risk, and re-screen against updated sanctions and PEP lists.
Payment screening
Card deposits are processed by Stripe and screened for fraud, sanctions and PEP exposure. Bank deposits (SEPA / wire) are reconciled against your verified name; third-party funding is not accepted.
Sanctions
Mouvel does not knowingly provide services to individuals or entities subject to relevant UN, EU, US, UK or KSA sanctions.
Reporting
Suspicious activity may be reported to the relevant financial-intelligence unit as required by law.
